TRUMPH is a micro opera with electronics and real time visuals by Niels Rønsholdt and Signe Klejs. The piece is based on text material from Tjekhov and Sade about the life filled with longing. A central aim is the examination of the tension field between pleasure and pain. The piece is focusing on the stylized whipping which is being viewed from the two engaged persons – staggered in time and space.
First performance was in Literaturhaus in Septemper 2007 and was later performed again at Helsingør Theater during SPOR festival in May 2009.
